Lieutenant Commander David Hull (Regional Director, 1-3), Lieutenant Commander Denis Thiede (Commanding Officer of Barque Eagle Division in Plainville, CT) and LT Matt Landry (Commanding Officer of Massachusetts Bay Division in Boston, MA) will be hosting Petty Officer Leadership Academy New England (Class 10) at Naval Station Newport, with the support and assistance of the U.S. Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy (SEA). This Leadership Academy gives student cadets a rare opportunity to train with some of the Navy's most experienced leaders. In addition to daily lectures from the SEA's Master Chiefs, cadets will take part in many structured role-plays and small-group discussions. Each cadet will also rotate through at least one leadership billet during the training - there is no better way to learn about leadership than to experience it! The training will be held from Monday 26 December 2011 to Sunday 01 January 2012 at Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island. Essential information about this training is contained in the Information Packet and Standard Operating Procedures found at the right side of this page. Please review the information contained therein, and after doing so, contact LCDR Hull to confirm that billets are still available. Billets are first-come, first-served, and will be confirmed only upon RECEIPT of NSCTNG003, $140 training fee, copy of ID card, and ALL APPROPRIATE WAIVERS. Mail all correspondence to: LCDR David I. Hull, NSCC Thank you for your interest, and I hope to see you in Newport in December! David I. Hull, M.S., M.A., J.D. |
