FOR YOUNG AMERICANS AGES 10-13

WHO ARE THE League CADETS?

The Navy League Cadet Corps is the Junior program of the Sea Cadets. It is a maritime based youth program sponsored by the U.S. Navy. Cadets train on military installations always choosing adventure, seeking challenges, and stepping outside of their comfort zone to prove to the world that Greatness Has No Age.

WHO CAN JOIN?

  • U.S. citizens or Permanent Legal Residents

  • Ages 10 - 13.

    • If you are 13 or older, visit our senior program here.

  • Drill with one of 400 units across the United States, and in Guam and Puerto Rico.

    • If you can’t find a local unit, check out our Virtual Battalion.  

WHAT will i get to do?

  • Participate in Unit Drill: typically meeting one weekend a month.

  • Graduate Navy League Orientation: a fast paced 7 day training focused on basic military instruction and team building.

  • Attend Advanced Trainings. Only you can chart your course, choose between:

    • Field operations

    • Robotics

    • SCUBA

    • Submarine Training

    • Culinary Arts

    • SEALs

    • Military Police

    • More
