REMINDERS:

ADULT VOLUNTEER ADVISORY COUNCIL: Adult Volunteer Advisory Council application deadline is 8 February 2022.

INSURANCE RENEWAL: We are renewing our insurance. The units can start requesting COI (certificate of insurance) additional insurance for special events or drills. For any specific questions about insurance, please contact Veronica Morales at vmorales@seacadets.org.

SCHOLARSHIP: Thank you to the many members who have reached out to ask when the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps annual scholarship will be announced. We are as excited as you all are. We are waiting for final approval from the Board of Directors but we are planning to release the scholarship parameters by the end of next week (Week of 14th February). We wanted to ensure you all were aware that we did not forget this important yearly benefit for our Sea Cadets.

MAGELLAN REQUIREMENTS: Magellan will now require you to enter the attendance of all eligible cadets when creating a drill event. We know there is an issue with creating old events populating current cadets. We are working on this issue.

UNIFORM MANUAL: The uniform manual has been under review for the past several years. We appreciate those who have contributed to writing and editing it. The new version will be published very soon.
