The Sea Cadets 1962 Society recognizes donors who give $1,962 or more in a calendar year. The extraordinary generosity of 1962 Society members enables our Cadets to enjoy life changing experiences and prepare for life as young adults.

In all of these experiences, Cadets interact with each other as part of a team and are not distracted by cell phones. We strive to challenge Cadets to step outside of their comfort zones so they grow as team players and leaders. Throughout the trainings, our volunteers continue to inspire them with teaching moments of honor, respect, service and commitment – our mission values.

Your financial support provides funding to expand operations and pursue mission-driven strategic initiatives such as:

Maximize Participation: Increase the number of cadets who benefit from our career-based training program by allowing us to open doors to socioeconomically diverse communities. Break down barriers to participation by making funds available to pay for uniforms, enrollment fees, training fees, and travel. Share the mission of Sea Cadets to a broader audience.

Improve and Expand Training Opportunities: Fund special Cadet-focused projects, new training programs, and enhanced curricula. Encourage wellbeing through fitness exercises and rapport building activities. Gain access to more training venues and develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become engaged, productive, and responsible young adults.

Provide Critical Resources to Grow Nationwide Engagement: Build relationships with the community, military, academia, and industry. Garner support to ensure the Sea Cadets has the resources to be agile and pivot due to changes in the economy, technology or world events.
